Research reports vary but a significant proportion of organizations have suffered from at least one incident of malware infiltration into their systems via email. The range and sophistication of threats is continuing to increase and, while the various email protection products on the market have been developed to respond to them, the most effective security will come from a multilayered approach that addresses the various different types of threat that exist.
